    Opoponax gum resin (Commiphora opoponax) from Somalia is a form of myrrh used as incense and natural medicine. 

    Traditionally, Opoponax has been regarded as the incense of Scorpio, and has been used to guard against negative influences.

    Opoponax an earthy-sweet, balsam-like, lavender-like fragrance. 

    Myrrh is related with the heavenly region of the Innermost.

    Includes one (1) ounce of opoponax resin.

    Uses of Myrrh:

    • Cleanse a space
    • Drive away negative influences
    • Repel noxious substances

    How to Use:

    • In a brazier or firesafe pot, light an incense charcoal. When it is white hot, place some opoponax onto the coal. Enjoy! Please note that when burned, powered or crushed resin incense usually smells sweeter than large pieces.

    Excellent resin, a must-try. Similar to Myrrh but different.

    As deep and as earthy as Myrrh with a unique additional layer in my sense. A pleasure to experience. A gift to enjoy.

    Wonderful aroma!

    Opoponax has a wonderful smell, something along the lines of sweet and woody. It almost reminds me of granola. Very nice quality.
