Juniper Berries

The branches and berries of the juniper tree have been used for medicinal and spiritual purposes for thousands of years. Native Americans burn juniper berries to cleanse and purify the air. In ancient times juniper smoke was used for the ritual purification of temples and to aid clairvoyance. In central Europe it played a part in the spring-time cleansing and casting out of witchcraft. In Tibet, juniper is used daily as an offering by throwing branches onto a fire, amongst other uses including medicinal, spiritual, etc.

Includes two (2) ounces of berries, packaged in a reusable, food-grade pouch made from natural Japanese kraft paper with a resealable airtight zip lock closure.

    Suggested Uses

    • When burned (such as on an incense charcoal), the berries from the juniper tree act as a smoke offering, eliminating the larvae from the astral body.
    • "Juniper berries are magnificent in order to avoid contagion. Thus, simply by chewing the juniper berries we can preserve ourselves from the danger of contagion." - Samael Aun Weor, Esoteric Medicine and Practical Magic
    • For the invocation of angels. Read Esoteric Medicine and Practical Magic.

    Sweet Woodsy

These berries have a sweet woodsy scent when burning and taste when consumed. The aftertaste when eaten has taken some getting used to however the overall effect is light and pleasant.

My first exposure to juniper berries

This was my first exposure to juniper berries. I read the thoughtful label on the back that helped me understand how to use them. They provide a fruity aroma when burned in a charcoal, and I feel a very sweet and light buzzing energy when I consume them to avoid contagion.
