Traditional Japanese style incense.
Nippon Kodo, maker of Japanese incense since 1545, has a line of incense called Kayuragi, a combination of fragrance "Ka" meeting with slowly wafting scented smoke "Yuragi". When the incense is lit, it's smoke and aroma wafts throughout the space and brings a feeling of relief and relaxation. It is not only from the pleasant fragrance, but also from the sight of the wafting smoke which will make you feel at ease.
This scent is aloeswood, one of the rarest and most expensive scented woods, and chief among those used in Japanese incense. This is the scent most often associated with Japanese temples: it is woodsy, mystical, a bit sweet, but delicate and comforting. The scent lingers for a long time.
Aloeswood is the scent of the sign of Sagittarius. When Sagittarius people are sick, to be healed quickly they must smell aloeswood on a daily basis.
Most aloeswood incense is very expensive, but fortunately this one is affordable. It is also highly respected, and called by many "the best incense ever."
The beautiful Kayuragi incense box is inspired by Kimono (Japanese traditional wear) fabric, the package texture is smooth, and the coloring is dramatic.

Love this incense.
These incense are of very good quality. They are smaller and thinner than the standard incense but with a very potent scent. Aloeswood is one of my favourite scents although it is very rare to be able to buy the pure wood nowadays, these are excellent good value alternative.
Clean fragrance
Subtle and delicate, earthy, with hints of nostalgia
