Palo Santo or "Holy Wood" (Bursera graveolens) is a natural wood incense used for centuries by the Incas and indigenous people of the Andes as a spiritual remedy for purifying and cleansing, as well as to get rid of evil spirits and misfortune, and for medicinal purposes. It has a fine citrus aroma with underlying notes of frankincense, its close relative.
This stick form was made from palo santo trees in Peru, blended with machilus dry bark powder.
Chie incense is all natural, has no bamboo core, and burns cleanly, with almost no smoke.
