Hinoki is a Japanese cypress tree. Powders from the leaves and bark provide a very distinctive aroma. It is similar to other aromatic trees like cedar, pine and juniper, but hinoki has a sweetness that is very soothing and inviting.
Hinoki is an excellent aroma for meditation or to soothe stress or negative emotions.
Chie incense is all natural, has no bamboo core, and burns cleanly, with almost no smoke.
